Ore processing is a general term describing processes leading to beneficiation of ores. Scanning electron microscopy helps to characterize the mineral of interest as well as the surrounding gangue. Such characterization is very important when designing and optimizing ore processing lines. Automated mineralogical solution like TIMA offers detailed information on liberation degree, grain size distribution and ore grade of analyzed samples.
